Today was a good day. Whit & were on a 70-minute conference call with an Adoption agency that we are considering using for our adoption. The woman was super helpful and able to answer all of the questions that we had for her about the agency, process, timing and of course - cost. Adding up the totals makes it seem impossible; it would be tough for us to come up with the first payment at this point. But in talking after we continue to believe that this is part of God's plan for us and therefore believe that we can (and must) TRUST in Him for our dream to become reality. The first step feels like the biggest, but I'm sure there will be more along the way and we hope we can look to Him first rather than our own abilities and resources.
Can't wait to see what He does...
2nd cool event of the day was finding out I will get a chance to meet some extremely influential people in the CF world and can't wait to see what may come of that. Even if I only get a shirt and some good conversations, I believe it will have a positive effect on what the future holds for me.
Finally, we got to end the day by having dinner with new friends at one of our favorite restaurants (Binkleys, in BR). Good food, good conversation and it was very cool to hear similar dreams/ideas for the future. Only God knows if we'll end up doing something together down the road but at the very least, we'll have another couple to share life with.

was kind of sore from Wednesdays wod and only had time to squeeze in a quick run b/t work and dinner. 1 mile warm up and then 4x .25mi hard + .25mi tempo on the treadmill. Got 3 miles in 20:00. calves may be a bit sore tomorrow.
